Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in the travel, tourism, or airline industry.

  • Strong expertise in IATA BSP, airline financial operations, and taxation.

Finance & Accounting Expertise:

  • Proficiency in financial software (Astaa, Traveler, Trabill, Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).

  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, cost control, and investment planning.

  • Experience in risk assessment, financial forecasting, and tax compliance.

Leadership & Communication Skills:

  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong communication in English and Bangla (both verbal and written).

  • Ability to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive financial performance.

We specialize in tour management, ticketing, visa processing, and corporate travel services, ensuring seamless travel solutions for our clients.

We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and lead our financial operations, strategic planning, and risk management. This senior leadership role requires an experienced finance professional with deep knowledge of financial management in the travel industry, particularly in handling IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP), airline financial operations, and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure long-term stability and growth.

  • Provide financial leadership to optimize profitability and cost management.

  • Work closely with senior executives to drive business expansion and operational efficiency.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and financial performance to ensure sustainability.

  • Implement financial risk management policies and compliance frameworks.

IATA BSP & Airline Financial Operations

  • Manage IATA BSP reconciliation, airline ticketing accounts, and financial settlements.

  • Ensure compliance with international travel industry financial regulations.

  • Optimize cash flow management and maintain strong relationships with airlines, banks, and financial institutions.

Accounting, Auditing & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, accounting records, and tax compliance.

  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to industry and regulatory standards.

  • Handle VAT, corporate taxation, and regulatory filings in line with Bangladesh financial laws.

Investment & Business Growth

  • Identify investment opportunities and business expansion strategies.

  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve profitability.

  • Develop partnerships with corporate clients, investors, and financial service providers.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring professional development.

  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, and financial transactions.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and financial discipline.
