Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 28 years
  • 4–8 years of professional experience in Accounting, preferably in the Travel, Tourism, Airline, or Newspaper sector.

  • Strong practical knowledge of IATA BSP operations is mandatory.

  • Hands-on experience with Astaa, Traveler, Trabill, Tally, and MS Excel.

  • Strong command of both English and Bangla, written and verbal.

  • Experience in a manpower recruiting agency will be considered an advantage.

  • Strong integrity, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under deadlines.

  • Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience with Costpoint Software will be considered an additional advantage.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance, where applicable.

Naria Travels & Tours is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accounts Officer to strengthen our Finance & Accounts Department.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Officer with strong expertise in IATA BSP, tourism accounting, financial management, and accounting software to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, receivables, and payables.

  • Reconcile and oversee IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) transactions.

  • Manage Tourism Accounts and Newspaper Accounts Software.

  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.

  • Conduct internal audits and ensure financial compliance.

  • Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, registers, and supporting documents.

  • Perform Bank Reconciliation and maintain cheque records.

  • Liaise with banks regarding transactions and financial services.

  • Supervise payroll processing and employee disbursements.

  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of Astaa, Traveler, Trabill, Tally, and Payroll systems.

  • Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Financial Reports for management.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making.

  • Coordinate with different departments to improve accounting and financial processes.

  • Maintain financial accuracy, confidentiality, discipline, and accountability.

  • Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.
