Role Purpose
A Multinational, Clothing Buying office is seeking a highly analytical, commercially minded and experienced Manager – Post Audit & Finance Management to strengthen financial governance, compliance and cost control across the business.
This is not simply an accounting role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% financial compliance, strong post-audit control, accurate management reporting, prevention of financial wastage and smart utilization of company funds.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure 100% compliance of all financial transactions with applicable laws, tax, VAT and statutory requirements.
Conduct systematic post-audit reviews of payments, expenses, purchases, reimbursements and other financial transactions.
Review monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and other key financial statements and highlight risks, abnormalities and areas requiring management attention.
Prepare budget vs. actual, month-on-month and year-on-year comparison statements, with clear variance analysis.
Identify financial leakage, wastage, unnecessary expenditure and weaknesses in financial controls, and ensure timely corrective action.
Prevent duplicate payments, overpayments, unauthorized expenditure, financial misuse and avoidable costs through effective controls.
Review OPEX and other costs and recommend practical opportunities for cost optimization and savings without affecting business performance.
Ensure effective cash-flow management, working-capital control, receivables and payables monitoring.
Review existing financial procedures and implement smart, efficient and transparent finance-management controls.
Ensure all transactions have appropriate supporting documents and comply with the company's SOPs, policies and approval authority matrix.
Monitor audit findings and ensure all agreed corrective actions are implemented within the required timeline.
Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, HR, Administration, Procurement, external auditors and tax/VAT consultants as required.
Provide independent financial analysis and recommendations to support the CEO and senior management in commercial and strategic decision-making.
Prepare a comprehensive Monthly Finance Management & Post-Audit Report for the CEO, covering:
P&L performance and key variances
Cash flow and working capital
Budget vs. actual performance
Tax/VAT and statutory compliance
Audit observations and financial risks
Wastage and financial leakage identified
Cost savings achieved
Outstanding corrective actions
Recommendations for management action
Education & Experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline from a reputed university.
Professional qualification partly such as CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent will be a strong advantage.
Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Internal Control or Financial Management.
Experience within a multinational, sourcing, trading, manufacturing or apparel organization will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of tax, VAT, statutory compliance, accounting standards and financial controls.
Strong capability in P&L analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, cash-flow management and management reporting.
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
Mandatory English Requirement
· Fluency in English is mandatory for this position.
· The candidate must have excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with the CEO, senior management, international colleagues, auditors and external stakeholders.
· Candidates who are not fluent and confident in professional English communication will not be considered for this position.
