Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent candidate should have following qualifications:
∎ Masters in any social science or engineering graduate with 05-years of job experiences with national and international organizations
∎ Must have field level knowledge and skills in WaSH sector
∎ Experiences of working with senior manage team in development organizations
∎ Should be able to develop strategic plan and innovative programmes in WaSH sector ensuring an integrated programme approach in compliance to national standards and policies
∎ She/he will lead, coordinate and report on the design, development and implementation of UST programmes in accordance with its strategic objectives
∎ Take a leading role in the effective management and collaboration with different national and international partners, stakeholders ensuring adherence to quality standards and relevant donor requirements.
∎ Development of new and innovative WaSH programmes including MHM and FSM, operating at international collaborative standards to deliver equitable inclusive and sustainable WASH services
∎ Provide management and technical support to the Executive Director and the National Coordinator of international organization to ensure effective implementation of programmes; compliance to donor guidelines and timely delivery on programme objectives
∎ Prepare plan for different events of national level advocacy such as workshop, seminar, orientation, media campaign etc.
∎ Smartly organize national level workshop, seminar, Talk-show, dialog and campaign on advocacy aspect to address WaSH issues.
∎ Networking, collaboration, cooperation and coordination with the LGI, Local Govt. Ministry, DPHE , relevant department & institutions, Media professionals and both local and national level NGOs.
∎ Develop and implement Country Engage Plan (CEP) as per requirement of international collaborative organizations in wash sector adhering to the international standards and commitments
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual activity planning of advocacy department
∎ Support the senior management team in implementation of capacity building plans for partners as required and that partners are integrated into programme cycle management processes.
∎ Guide team in preparing organization's monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, consolidating inputs into the national and international level reports.
∎ Review programme budgets and ensure appropriateness and alignment with donor regulations and project budgets.
∎ Prepare training modules on WaSH for capacity building of Staff.
∎ Maintain constructive, purposeful and trust-based relations with all colleagues.
∎ Participate in all meetings, committees, forums, projects and assignments as required.
∎ Proactively work toward continuous professional development through maintaining up-to date knowledge of effective programme implementation and development models, approaches and practices.
∎ Perform any other duties commensurate with the accountability of the post.
