Job Context:
∎ The Head of Accountancy supports the Deputy Finance Coordinator in processing the accounting transactions and audit, cash management and administrative requirements of the mission.
∎ He/she ensure the implementation of the accountancy process and offer technical support to the administrative teams of the mission.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accounting management:
∎ - Ensure the enforcement of cash and accountancy process at mission level
∎ - Overview and provide technical assistance to the team on daily operation
∎ - Supervise the accountancy daily operation of the coordination:
∎ - Prepare per diem for expatriate of the coordination and final SAFT for the mission
∎ - Ensure weekly cross check of the coordination accountancy
∎ - Update SAGA parameters and ensure the implementation of the software at mission level Prepare and prepare SAGA parameters for contracts
∎ - Lead the monthly accountancy of the mission and prepare the monthly mission accounting pack for validation of the Deputy Finance Coordinator
∎ - Cross check and consolidate provisional writings of bases
∎ - Allocate Paris (ABXs) expenses and carry out reallocation validated by the Deputy Finance Coordinator
∎ - Carry out transaction matching at a mission level and the preparation of annexes of the monthly pack
∎ - Lead the preparation of the accountancy yearly closure:
∎ - Carry out the full cross check of expenses of the past year
∎ - Prepare the annexes and documentation necessary as per Solidarites International standard
∎ - Lead the archiving process of accounting document of the mission
∎ - Update and follow up the planning of sending of archive (hard and soft) from base to coordination and from coordination to HQ
∎ - Ensure spot check of archive sent from the bases and ensure that all vouchers are in line with Solidarites International standard
∎ - Lead the preparation of audit of institutional donor and authorities at mission level
∎ - Update and follow up the planning of audit preparation and liaise with the base when documentation is necessary
∎ - Ensure a full check of transaction documents and ensure that all vouchers are in line with Solidarites International standard
∎ - Supervise local partner accountancy and monitor the implementation of Solidarites International standard
∎ - Cross check and validate all transaction documents provided by local partner
∎ - Integrate local partner transactions into the accountancy
∎ - Ensure regular monitoring visit and training to ensure local partner are implementing process in compliance with Solidarites International standard
∎ Cash Management :
∎ - Ensure the enforcement of cash supply system and cash security at mission level
∎ - Lead the cash supply within the mission:
∎ - Cross check and validation cash request from the bases
∎ - Monitor cash balance and ensure transfer request and reception
∎ - Support the Deputy Finance Coordinator in the preparation of mission monthly cash request
∎ - Prepare monthly cash flow forecast
∎ - Monitor request and reception of funds on the mission (from HQ and institutional donor)
∎ - Monitor cash requirement in line with authorities' requirements
∎ - Follow up bank signatory of the mission and ensure request for adding and removing signatory
∎ Administrative follow up
∎ - Ensure the enforcement of administrative process at mission level
∎ - Supervise the monthly taxes declaration at mission level
∎ - Carry out the process of tax return at mission level
∎ Team management:
∎ - Lead the recruitment of the coordination accounting team
∎ - Train, support and evaluate the cashier and the archivist
∎ - Provide technical support to the accounting teams at base level and conduct regular field visits
∎ Reporting / communication:
∎ - Report on a weekly basis to the Deputy Finance Coordinator
∎ - Establish and maintain relationships with the administrative stakeholders at national level (local, administrative local authorities...)
∎ - Take part in internal meetings relating to administrative aspects or upon request, and participate to training

Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary BDT 76 900 with Other benefits as per ISR of Solidarités International.
