• Conduct testing of purchased chemicals as per required quality and process standards.

• Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory use, and coordinate testing procedures for process validation.

• Analyze chemical and physical properties, compositions, and reactions of organic and inorganic compounds used in hair treatment.

• Utilize chromatography, spectroscopy, and spectrophotometry techniques for chemical and quality analysis.

• Develop, improve, and customize formulas, processes, and analytical methods to ensure the best hair quality outcomes.

• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and production teams to analyze and interpret test results for process enhancement.

• Apply heat, light, or catalysts to induce chemical reactions during hair treatment testing and formulation.

• Document and prepare technical reports, test summaries, and process specifications for management and compliance purposes.

• Maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure availability of testing materials and supplies.

• Ensure laboratory safety standards and best practices are consistently followed.

• Design and conduct regular training programs on chemical application, testing, and safety procedures.

Hair Treatment Process Development

• Formulate, test, and optimize hair treatment processes to ensure smooth, soft, and tangle-free results.

• Develop acid-balanced and protein-protective formulas that preserve natural shine, softness, and elasticity.

• Recommend suitable treatment chemicals and neutralizers to achieve safe, natural-looking results.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Conduct regular softness, tensile strength, and elasticity tests for each production batch.

• Inspect treated hair to confirm uniform processing, smooth texture, and tangle-free quality.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test data, and daily quality reports.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Research and implement new methods to improve durability, smoothness, and color retention in treated hair.

• Minimize chemical usage and optimize processing time without compromising quality.

• Support production teams in resolving issues related to softening, bleaching, neutralizing, or conditioning.

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with Production and Quality Control Supervisors to ensure consistent quality output.

• Report deviations or irregularities in test results promptly to management.

• Provide technical input and continuous improvement recommendations for hair treatment formulations and testing methods.
