Responsibilities & Context:

Position: Shop Operations Manager

Role Summary
: This role focuses on store operations, retail execution, consumer conversion, field coaching, and retail performance improvement, not traditional channel sales or sell-in management. Candidates with hands-on experience in FMCG or 3C retail operations are ideal; those mainly experienced in regional sell-in, distributor loading, or traditional motorcycle channel expansion are not suitable.

  • Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. 5+ years of experience in retail operations, retail excellence, field execution, or store performance management, preferably in FMCG, smartphones, consumer electronics, or other fast-moving retail businesses

  1. Proven track record in improving footfall, in-store conversion, visual merchandising, promoter productivity, and retail execution quality

  1. Strong field management capability to coach stores, identify execution gaps, and drive corrective actions

  1. Data-driven mindset with the ability to manage retail KPIs including traffic, test ride, conversion, display compliance, PSI, and store productivity

  1. Candidates with backgrounds mainly in sell-in, distributor development, or regional channel trading will not be prioritized

  • Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and manage retail operating system covering store standards, retail KPIs, field routines, store audits, and performance review mechanisms

  1. Boost sell-out performance by driving store-level execution in traffic generation, customer greeting, test ride conversion, merchandising, display quality, promoter capability, and closing discipline

  1. Lead regular field visits and coaching for key stores, identify retail execution weaknesses, and ensure timely corrective actions with sales teams and dealers

  1. Develop and implement retail training programs for store staff, promoters, and field teams to enhance customer engagement, product presentation, and conversion capability

  1. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to improve overall store productivity, launch readiness, consumer experience, and retail discipline across the network

  • Core KPI Direction:

  1. Sell-out growth of key stores and key regions

  1. Retail standard compliance and store audit scores

  1. Test ride volume and test ride-to-sale conversion

  1. Promoter productivity and store staff capability uplift

  1. PSI health and improvement of low-performing stores

  • Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, or related field

  1. 5+ years of proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in Mobile Industry, automotive/e-mobility

  1. Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing multiple retail outlets

  1. Solid understanding of retail operations, performance tracking, and staff training

  1. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

  1. Results-driven, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and willing to travel as required

  • Preferred: Experience in mobile phone, motorcycle, or consumer electronics industry; successful track record of implementing retail operation systems at a national or regional scale; strong data analysis capability.
