∎ Postgraduate degree preferably in Business Administration/Finance/Banking with a strong academic background (no third class in any examination).

Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Handle end-to-end processing of both local and foreign bank guarantees including issuance, amendment, cancellation, claim settlement, and closure, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
∎ Scrutinize guarantee applications, formats, and underlying contracts to ensure conformity with regulatory guidelines, ICC rules (URDG 758, ISP-98), and customer requirements.
∎ Maintain close coordination with customers, branches, business units, international division and correspondent banks to facilitate timely issuance and delivery of guarantees.
∎ Ensure proper booking, record maintenance, and timely recovery of guarantee-related charges, commissions, and other applicable fees.
∎ Monitor and manage the guarantee expiry and renewal process, issuing timely alerts to relevant stakeholders.·         Communication with various stakeholders, including government agencies, development partners, and other banks, regarding guarantees.
∎ Verify and process counter-guarantees and back-to-back guarantees as required, maintaining regulatory compliance and credit limit adherence.
∎ Collaborate with legal, credit administration, and compliance teams for guarantee wording approval, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
∎ Ensure all activities are performed with high levels of diligence, accuracy, and within stipulated turnaround time (TAT), contributing to service excellence and operational efficiency.
∎ Compliance of the reporting formalities and other bank guarantee related jobs etc.
