Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with the Management and Senior Management on all operational and strategic issues to provide strategic recommendations to the MD and Senior Management.
∎ Oversee long-term budgetary planning, forecasting and cost management in alignment with the Group and operating companies’ (SBU’s) strategic plan.
∎ Cascade Group financial strategies into an effective business plan for AML operating companies and ensure maximum alignment between organisational objectives and operating companies’ activities (SBU’s).
∎ Lead the continual improvement of smarter information systems, provision of centralised information, increased financial and operational KPI information and trend analysis and benchmarking of Group performance against agreed performance measures.
∎ Ensuring that the AML Group and operating companies’ financial risk and exposure is carefully managed, including management of tax liabilities.
∎ Ensuring adequate insurance coverage is taken out; and management of all insurance claims.
∎ Review all formal Finance and IT related procedures, process and administration, recommending improvements to the systems in place and managing the systems going forward.
∎ Review, recommend and manage Group wide IT related projects (Financial, Sales, Manufacturing, other)
∎ Overall responsibility for the efficient and effective technology management and support of the business as it relates to the administrative and financial management of the business.
∎ Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with AML Group stakeholders on financial matters
∎ Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with AML Group’s bankers and other funding organizations.
∎ Chairing or participating in Group’s operating companies projects as required.
