∎ Job Purpose:
∎ The incumbent will work under the Business Development and Quality Assurance Department implementing WASH projects for target communities in different areas of Bangladesh. The position is accountable for contributing to efficient management of grants, project management perspectives through quality reporting, coordination with multiple units within WAB and ensuring donor compliance`s as per agreements.
∎ The programmes of WA Bangladesh aims to improve access to water and sanitation services and promotion of safe hygienic practices among the targeted underprivileged people living in different geographical context/ areas in Bangladesh. Under the programme intervention, WA Bangladesh works in multiple domains which includes low-income communities, institutions (schools, healthcare facilities), public sanitation (public toilets) and advocacy initiatives with the Government, in the respective project areas to improve their WASH services. This encompasses the 02 (two) strategic aims of WAB which are (i) Advancing climate resilient and inclusive WASH and (ii) Universal, sustainable and safe WASH for wider change.
Salary:
∎ Monthly starting gross salary is BDT 62,000, this is flexible corresponding to the relevant higher skills, competencies and experiences.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The benefits include festival bonus, provident fund and gratuity (total monthly salary package including benefits is BDT 76,218). In addition, life insurance for self, health insurance for self, spouse and children, cell phone allowances etc. are applicable as per policy provision.
