∎ Job Purpose:
∎ The main roles and responsibility of Coordinator (Health, Hygiene Nutrition and Psycho-social Counselling) is to ensure high quality technical support to staff members of implementing partner organizations of Urban Green Graduation program targeting the people in extremely poverty conditions living on the pavements, squatters and in undeveloped slums in and around Dhaka South City Corporation and Dhaka North City Corporations. The Graduation Technical Coordinator (HHN-PSC) is expected to provide capacity building training and provide day to guidance to the partners` staff - particularly the Graduation Mentors and their Supervisors (on the basics of psycho-social counselling, facilitating sessions on health, hygiene and nutrition) and will ensure psycho-social counselling and awareness sessions on health hygiene and nutrition are maintained expected standards and quality and demonstrating positive change in the behaviour and practice of target program participants of Urban Green Graduation Program. This position will actively engage and maintain professional relationship with urban health, nutrition, WASH and psychologist/psychiatric service providers and bridge between partners to ensure program participants have access to above services. The successful candidate will report to the Program Manager, ILUEP program on a day to basis, however, should remain open to support other development programs if needed.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide capacity building training and technical guidance to partners' staff - particularly the Graduation Mentors and their Supervisors on HHN, WASH and Psychosocial Counselling ensuring high quality of standards.
∎ Will ensure that psycho-social counselling and awareness sessions organized on health, hygiene and nutrition are maintained expected standards and quality and are demonstrating positive change in behaviour and practice level of target program participants.
∎ Actively engage with the Program Coordinator, Urban Green Graduation Program to develop capacity building plan engaging Project Coordinators of implementing partners and deliver the time plan on time
∎ Actively engage with the Program Manager, Urban Green Graduation Program (PM-UGGP) and the MEAL team in designing monitoring tools and apply those to measure effectiveness and efficiency of sessions conducted by partners' staff.
∎ Actively engage and maintain professional relationship with urban health, nutrition, WASH service providers, relevant Psychologist/psychiatric institutions to bridge between partners to establish effective referral mechanisms for program participants.
∎ Closely work with Health and Nutrition Advisor and make sure all aspects of technical standards are maintained in delivery of (HHN, WASH and PSC components) of UGG program.
∎ Will provide necessary technical support and guidance to the Project Coordinators (two PCs) in efficient management and delivery of Nutrition-sensitive Livelihood Pilot being implemented within Urban Green Graduation Program areas.
∎ Ensure periodic review of progress, process and outcomes of 'Nutrition Sensitive Livelihoods' Pilot initiative and share updates with the Health and Nutrition Advisor (HNA) and Deputy Director Programs (DDP) on a monthly basis.
∎ Assist Program Manager, UGGP in development and updating of standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training curriculums of UGGP to support high quality, donor compliant program delivery.
∎ Assist PM-UGGP in reviewing of monthly progress, assess support requirements help developing action plans for partners.
∎ Support UGGP team in review of program quality through regular field visits and help developing improvement plans.
∎ Other:
∎ Actively participate and support the Program Manager, Urban Green Graduation Program in preparation or updates of Preparing for Effective Emergency Response (PEER) plan, Security Management Plan (SMP) and other Concern initiatives applicable for Urban Green Graduation Program or its partners.
∎ Take active measures to address equality issues, particularly relating to gender equality and inclusion, in programme as well as operational activities.
∎ Ensure the highest standards of accountability through ensuring good communication and information sharing within and outside the organisation.
∎ Be aware of, understand and comply with all of Concern's policies and procedures (P4, finance, logistics, HR, security management etc.).
∎ Actively participate in any emergency response if called upon to do so (within the existing programme area or in a new one, in any part of the country).
∎ Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Deputy Program Director, Programme Director, or the Country Director.
∎ Accountability:

∎ Actively promote meaningful community participation and consultation at all stages of the project cycle (planning, implementation, M&E);
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that the Complaints and Response Mechanism (CRM) is functional and accessible, that feedback and complaints are welcomed and addressed;
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that information about CRM, safeguarding and expected staff behaviour is disseminated among programme participants and communities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least six (06) (for females 04) years of proven experience of working in similar position/field under I/NGOs or UN agencies.
∎ Highly competent in implementation of and/or providing high quality delivery of health, hygiene, nutrition and psycho-social service related components of large development programs in urban context of Bangladesh.
∎ Proven experience in developing training materials, modules on Health, Hygiene, Nutrition and Psychosocial Counselling sessions for capacity building of staff members of partner organizations.
∎ Proven track record of organizing capacity building training and facilitating training sessions on health, hygiene, nutrition and psychosocial counselling.
∎ Extensive knowledge and experience of supporting partners
Salary: Tk. 100769 - 122485 (Monthly)
