∎ Should have proper knowledge on garments production materials/accessories, spare parts, electrical, mechanical items, stationeries, requisition processes, receiving and storing systems with safety and security.
∎ Goal-oriented, good communication skills, problem-solving skills, positive and proactive approach to work, & meet deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Check factory requirements and inventory, identify quality of potential suppliers and ensure all goods and services meet the required quality and delivery requirements and ensuring cost effective sourcing of materials and supplies along with on time delivery of the same.
∎ To collect requirement and requisition from the concerned department /person of the production unit for taking necessary steps for purchase as per requisition and confirm quotations from the different suppliers and take management approval for the same.
∎ Negotiating with the vendors and finalizing the terms and conditions for performance, guarantee of the supplied items, supervise, services, shipment, supplier payments etc. and maintain communication with factory management in connection with requisition and supply of the same on time.
∎ Monitoring supplier’s performance with contract terms and quality standards and coordinate with production and inventory teams of the factory to ensure materials available when needed.
∎ Manage inventory levels to minimize holding costs and avoid production delays and work closely with the production, quality team and finance department to align purchase activities and payments for smooth functioning of the department.
