∎ At least 15 years of experience in sample room operations, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
∎ Proven track record of managing large teams and delivering high-quality samples on time.
∎ Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric properties (especially woven garments).
∎ Familiarity with CAD software and ERP systems related to sample room management.
∎ Leadership Skills: Strong team management, mentoring, and motivational abilities to build a cohesive and productive workforce.
∎ Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Capable of analyzing complex production challenges and implementing effective solutions quickly.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strategic Management: Develop and implement a robust strategy for the sample room to meet daily production targets and buyer deadlines.
∎ Optimize workflow to improve sample delivery speed and accuracy.
∎ Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage a team of sample coordinators, pattern makers, and tailors to maintain a high-performance culture.
∎ Identify skill gaps and organize training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
∎ Coordination with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to understand buyer requirements, timelines, and priorities.
∎ Act as the primary point of contact for escalating and resolving sample production issues.
∎ Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all samples meet buyer specifications, including design accuracy, quality standards, and finishing details.
∎ Establish robust quality control processes to minimize errors and rework.
∎ Resource Planning and Management: Manage resource allocation, including workforce, machinery, and materials, to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Forecast future requirements based on order trends and production needs.
∎ Process Improvement: Evaluate and refine existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and control costs.
∎ Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
∎ Monitoring and Reporting: Track daily, weekly, and monthly sample room performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates and defect rates.
∎ Provide detailed reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
∎ Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to prevent production delays.
∎ Make informed decisions to balance urgent requests with planned priorities.
∎ Must have sound knowledge and Experiences of handling 75 plus sewing and sample lines.
