Educational Qualification:

• Master’s in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or Business Administration (MBA) from a reputed university.

• B.Sc. in Textile/IE with strong operational background will also be considered.

Minimum Experience:

• 15–20 years of experience in the Jacket/Outerwear manufacturing(Bomber Jacket, Down Jacket, Padded Jacket, Fake Down, Real Down, Seam Sealing, Fleece Jacket, Ski Jacket, Softshell Jacket, Leather Jacket, Puffer Jacket).

• Proven track record of managing large-scale operations, multiple production lines, and workforce management.

A renowned 100% export-oriented knit composite company in the country is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly capable professional for the position of General Manager-Operation (Jacket), located in Gazipur.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the entire operations of the Jacket Manufacturing Unit, ensuring smooth functioning across production, quality, planning, merchandising, and supply chain.

2. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery in line with buyer requirements.

3. Ensure compliance with international quality standards, buyer specifications, and social/technical audits.

4. Monitor and control overall production processes, capacity utilization, and efficiency to maximize output and minimize wastage.

5. Collaborate with merchandising, procurement, and planning teams to ensure timely sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories.

6. Lead factory teams in sample development, bulk production, and order execution while ensuring adherence to buyer-approved standards.

7. Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to departmental heads and cross-functional teams.

8. Analyze and resolve operational challenges including production bottlenecks, quality issues, and supply chain disruptions.

9. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the workplace.

10. Develop and maintain strong communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.

11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, technology adoption, and workforce efficiency.

12. Prepare and present regular operational reports to top management with insights and recommendations for improvement.

13. Any other responsibilities assigned by senior management for achieving organizational goals.
