Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead, review and ensure implementation of the human resource functional strategies in line with the business strategies;
∎ Monitor and continue to improve service delivery standards for the HR function by developing appropriate HR metrics;
∎ Ensure the organization is appropriately designed to support the achievement of business objectives;
∎ Process owner for staff development; succession planning and nationalization; talent management; and leadership development activity;
∎ Plan and co-ordinate the learning and development processes by developing and implementing local development plans and training interventions which support individual and organization development;
∎ Develop appropriate career progression techniques for the organization;
∎ Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and code of conduct in line with company's requirement and Bangladesh labor law;
∎ Adopt, articulate and up-date new polices and procedure when required;
∎ Take proactive ownership for organizational job evaluation and conduction of salary survey to benchmark employees' benefits;
∎ Establish a performance driven culture through implementing performance management system best practices;
∎ Develop and oversee HRIS, deal with IR/ER issues, activities and events;
∎ Provide necessary support to deal with employee grievance, counselling and disciplinary action;
∎ Advise managers on how to deal with performance, conduct employee retention and turnover issues via effective evaluation of exit interview/opinion survey data;
∎ Advise management on the proper implementation of the company's formal job evaluation scheme and grading system for new, revised and promoted roles;
∎ Manage the annual salary and bonus review process to ensure timely authorization by local and corporate management;
Additional Requirements:
∎ 15 (+) years' experience of working in Human Resources Management profession both in multinational and local environment and minimum 3 years' experience in similar filed or Head of HR;
∎ Sound knowledge on Human Resource Management/ Development, Industrial/ Employee Relation, legal framework and other relevant issues;
∎ Strong business acumen and exceptional interpersonal and communication skill;
∎ Demonstrate competency in strategic planning and HR development;
∎ Hands on experience in working knowledge of ERP, data analysis and performance/operation metrics;
∎ In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practice;
∎ Aptitude to decision making and problem solving ability;
∎ Excellent management leadership skills as well as facilitation and capacity building for inter-linkages;
∎ Conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills;
