Job Responsibilities &Your Strategic Mandate:
- You will hold the ultimate responsibility for the hospital's P&L and overall health. Your key result areas will be:
- Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
- Develop and execute the hospital's comprehensive strategic plan, annual budget, and business goals to achieve targeted financial and operational metrics.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including the launch of specialized medical centers and new service lines, to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Spearhead marketing, branding, and PR initiatives to enhance the hospital's reputation and strengthen its brand equity as a premier healthcare destination.
- Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance:
- Provide overarching leadership and coordination for all clinical and non-clinical departments, ensuring seamless, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, implementing and monitoring international quality standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and care excellence.
- Optimize the utilization of human and physical resources to maximize operational efficiency and control costs without compromising quality.
- Patient Satisfaction & Service Quality:
- Foster a culture of exceptional patient experience, ensuring a compassionate, respectful, and safe environment for patients, their families, and staff.
- Implement robust patient feedback mechanisms and ensure prompt resolution of grievances, driving continuous improvement in service quality.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and department heads to uphold the highest standards of clinical governance and medical ethics.
- Team Leadership & Human Capital Development:
- Inspire, mentor, and lead a large, multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
- Drive talent development through strategic training, performance management systems, and succession planning to build a world-class workforce.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and accountable corporate culture that aligns with the core values of Lifezone International Hospital.
- Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure the hospital's full compliance with all national healthcare regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and corporate governance across all operations.
- The Candidate We Are Looking For:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hospital or healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., General Manager, AGM, Operations Director) within a large, multi-specialty hospital.
- A proven track record of achieving financial targets, driving operational excellence, and leading successful business growth initiatives in a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
