Education:
    • Diploma in Medical Technology
  • University bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 25 years
  • At least three year’s experience in radiography

  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel required.

  • Knowledge and experience on x-ray related service is an advantage.

  • Knowledge and experience in using of different software and medical/digital radiology system applications is advantage.

  • Good computer skill, especially in Microsoft Excel is essential;

  • Knowledge and experience in radiology information systems and picture archiving and communication systems an advantage



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Patient Preparation and Care:

    • Explaining imaging procedures to patients to help them understand the process and reduce discomfort.

    • Reviewing patient medical history and providing instructions regarding clothing or jewelry that might interfere with the imaging process.

    • Assisting patients with positioning to ensure the equipment captures accurate images.

    • Monitoring patient well-being and providing support throughout the examination.

  • Imaging and Equipment Operation:

    • Operating specialized imaging machinery such as X-ray, CT, and MRI scanners.

    • Setting technical parameters on the equipment appropriate for the specific diagnostic requirement and the patient's physical condition.

    • Performing regular checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and safely.

    • Assisting with the preparation of contrast materials when required for specific diagnostic scans.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Following strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and healthcare staff.

    • Utilizing protective shielding, such as lead aprons, to protect sensitive areas of the body.

    • Maintaining a clean and sterile environment in accordance with healthcare infection control standards.

  • Documentation and Collaboration:

    • Maintaining detailed records of the imaging procedures performed.

    • Working closely with radiologists and other medical doctors to ensure the images meet diagnostic standards.

    • Managing the flow of patients and scheduling within the radiology department.
