Experience:

• Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution.

• Must be registered with Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC).

• Training in Emergency Care, Health Awareness, or Industrial Health is an advantage.

• At least 1 year
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

• Only Female

• Good clinical and first-aid skills.

• Knowledge of basic medicines, dressing, and emergency response.

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle stressful medical situations calmly.

• Good communication and compassionate behavior.

• Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.

• Basic computer knowledge for documentation and reporting.

• Training in First-Aid or Emergency Care is an advantage.

• Training in Emergency Care, Health Awareness, or Industrial Health is an advantage.

• Provide basic treatment and first-aid to workers suffering from illness or minor injuries.

• Assist the Medical Officer in assessing sick employees and recommending rest or referral.

• Ensure proper counseling to workers regarding health, hygiene, and medication instructions.

• Maintain patient privacy and professional behavior at all times.

• Provide immediate assistance during workplace accidents or emergencies.

• Administer first-aid, stabilize patients, and support referral to hospitals when required.

• Assist in operating emergency equipment (oxygen masks, stretchers, first-aid boxes).

• Escort patients to external hospitals when necessary.

• Dispense medicine as per Medical Officer Instructions.

• Maintain stock registers for medicines, bandages, antiseptics, and equipment.

• Check expiry dates, storage conditions, and ensure proper stock rotation.

• Prepare requisition lists for medicine and supplies.

• Maintain patient treatment registers, medical cards, and documentation as per factory standards.

• Record injury details, cause analysis, and first-aid treatment information.

• Support preparation of monthly health reports for HR & Admin.

• Maintain medical leave recommendation records and follow-up charts.

• Support compliance documentation for buyer audits (WRAP, BSCI, and Accord/Alliance).

• Check cleanliness and hygiene of washrooms, canteens, drinking water areas.

• Conduct regular inspections of first-aid boxes across departments.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law health requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the medical center.

• Ensure all medical equipment (BP machine, thermometer, weighing scale, and nebulizer) is functional.

• Report equipment needs or malfunction to the Medical Officer.

• Assist in conducting awareness sessions on: Hygiene, Nutrition, Women’s health, Occupational diseases.

• First-aid Support HR & Admin in organizing health camps and vaccination programs.

• Coordinate with HR, Admin, Compliance, and Production for medical or emergency needs.

• Communicate politely with workers and guide them on health instructions.

• Assist the Medical Officer in interacting with hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
