∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for handling all types of export and import-related matters.
∎ Maintain liaison with Marketing & Merchandising and other related departments on commercial issues.
∎ Contact shipping lines, suppliers, and indenters to know the vessel's position.
∎ Handling shipping documents, L/C, and related documents, and monitoring the status of customs assessment, port, and agent charges for clearing merchandise.
∎ Check overall customer PO details.
∎ Check MLC/SC details and update the system
∎ Check the work order along with the vendor's PI for the LC application
∎ Apply, check, and follow up on all related applications with relevant docs. And follow up with our lien banks for LC issuance.
∎ Troubleshooting any LC-related mail with bank, vendor, customer, and internal departments.
∎ Update LC status regularly and share LC copy with the relevant department
∎ Overall SAP follow-up for the commercial department.
∎ Keep in contact with foreign suppliers, shippers, and local agents to have updated information and the current status of the consignment.
∎ Payment follow-up with banks for export and import.
∎ Dealing with BEPZA/Custom
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 45 years
∎ Working exposure in EPZ factory will be an added advantage.
∎ A self-driven and assertive individual with business acumen.
∎ Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinker, conflict resolution skills, and decision-maker with leadership abilities.
∎ Must be a team player.
∎ Able to multi-task and take pressure.
∎ Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
