• Proven experience (typically 8-10 years or more) in a senior financial management role within the textile or Garments manufacturing industry.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

• Strategic thinking and analytical mindset, with a focus on driving business results and solving complex financial challenges.

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Understanding of textile industry dynamics, market trends, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable. 

Job Context : The General Manager of Accounts & Finance in the textile industry is responsible for managing all aspects of financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance within the organization. This role plays a critical part in decision-making processes by providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:     

•  Develop, implement, and monitor financial planning strategies aligned with the company`s goals and objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support decision-making processes.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial metrics.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g.,IAS, IFRS), as well as industry-specific requirements.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and other stakeholders to support business planning and decision-making.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and overall business improvement.
• Manage the budgeting process, including the development, monitoring, and control of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Implement cost control measures to optimize resource allocation and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to maintain high standards of financial integrity and transparency.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop the skills and capabilities of finance professionals through training, coaching, and career development initiatives.
