Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree in Social Science especially gender studies, development studies or relevant discipline

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the overall guidance and direct supervision of Project Manager the Gender & Inclusion Coordinator advises on gender policies and trends and relevant linkages to the projects. The incumbent will be mainly responsible for gathering the latest concepts of gender, inclusion, diversity, gender transformation, feminist leadership, contextualize, and integrate development thoughts with the projects activities to bring desirable changes in the target communities in terms of gender equality and inclusion. The Gender & Inclusion Coordinator advocates for and represents ESDO in his/her area of expertise as requested by his/her supervisor. The Gender & Inclusion Coordinator functions and competencies are:
∎ Advice and support to the project Manager and other members of the project management to ensure achieving gender equality, inclusion and women's empowerment;
∎ Advise on, and develop strategies to address, gender issues in the project, in consultation with Project Manager and Plan's technical personnel;
∎ Represent the project in different working groups and interagency working groups related to gender and inclusion;
∎ Analyze the projects' context, scope and integrate the gender, inclusion issues in education, health and protection programs implemented by ESDO and USS.
∎ Carry on activities to achieve gender-specific targets as per the project document and Results Framework;
∎ Provide advanced technical support to projects on gender transformative programing and influencing for innovative, evidence-based and impactful programs;
∎ Ensure the organization policies of Child Protection (CPP) and gender equality and inclusion (GEI) are fully integrated in accordance with the principles of requirement of the policy, including standards and relevant implementation guidelines applicable to there are of responsibility;
∎ Empower children, adolescent, young people and communities to make vital changes that tackle the root causes of discrimination against girls, young women, exclusion and vulnerability and feminist leadership;
∎ Support the safe and successful progression of children from birth to adulthood;
∎ Produce high-quality analysis and advocacy documents for the project on gender issues as required;
∎ Work with ESDO central team in developing/reviewing training curriculum, organizing and facilitating related training for project team;
∎ Develop and support a gender and inclusion network comprise of gender focal points both ESDO and Plan to extend and strength their technical skills in gender and inclusion and monitoring;
∎ Provide Training and capacity building support for project staff, government officials and likeminded organization on gender and inclusion issues toward achievement of project goal and objectives;
∎ Effective application of result based management tools, establishment of management targets and achievement of the results; ability to lead strategic planning, result base monitoring and reporting.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual report on activities, outputs and outcomes and submit to project manager;
∎ Support the Project Manager with all relevant information to assist the projects and resilience building and inclusive growth cluster with gender-related case statistics and success stories collect from the field and present to the line management;
∎ Ensure regular support, follow up and monitoring of the planning, development and implementation of project activities lensing gender and inclusive program;
∎ Consistently approaches work with energy and positive, constructive attitude;
∎ 60% time allocate for field work to assist in implementation of project activities and 40% desk work for planning, communication and necessary documentation and reporting.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate should possess the following qualification to compete for the announced position;
∎ Remains calm, in control and good humored even under pressure; demonstrate openness to change and ability to manage complexity
∎ Developing and implementing conceptually innovative approaches to the provision of technical expertise
∎ At least 3 years of relevant experience in gender, inclusion, feminist leadership and social assessment;
∎ Substantial experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of gender focused projects.
∎ Excellent written and oral communication in English, including excellent drafting and presentation skills. Computer operation, power point presentation skill must require. Willing to drive motorcycle & should have a valid driving license Not exceed 45 years but age flexible for highly experienced candidates. Females are highly encouraged to apply.

Salary: Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
