∎ Overall purposes of the role: The GBV Coordinator will oversee the implementation of the Girl Shine curriculum and program, which supports adolescent and young girls in Rohingya camps and host communities. The GBV -Girl Shine Coordinator will supervise project staff and mentors, and provide direct technical support to the teams in the field with support from the GBV Program Manager. The GBV Coordinator will also support in the development and monitoring of work plans, procurement and budgeting, and will coordinate closely with the program support teams to ensure project is on track.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technical Management:
∎ The GBV Coordinator is responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of Girl Shine, from assessing the needs of girls, selecting girls for the program, building relationships with caregivers, monitoring activities, and overseeing the implementation of the Girl Shine Caregiver Curriculum (with support from other staff members).
∎ The GBV Coordinator is responsible for leading the contextualization and adaptation process of the Girl Shine Life Skills and Caregiver curricula.
∎ The GBV Coordinator is responsible for capacity building of staff and mentors on the implementation of Girl Shine activities through on-the-job mentoring and training.
∎ Through observation and regular evaluations, the GBV Coordinator will oversee and ensure the quality of activities implemented by the mentors and share relevant information during staff meetings.
∎ The GBV Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of activities, including the selection of mentors for girls, female/male caregivers, and the continued strengthening of the officers' s' and mentors' capacity.
∎ The GBV Coordinator is also responsible for collecting data and preparing reports.
∎ The GBV Coordinator identifies key trends emerging in the field related to adolescent girls and works closely with staff to address key issues (for example, accessing vulnerable segments of girls, introducing case management, etc.).
∎ The GBV Coordinator works closely with the team to ensure GBV responses are reflective of the needs of girls, in particular early marriage and sexual violence.
∎ Coordinate with community leaders and women's associations to strengthen support and information networks.
∎ Provide technical support to ensure program quality, inclusive of regular technical monitoring of case management and PSS services under the program
∎ Project management through follow-up of proposal and budget: identification of needs, assessment, leading procurement request and design of monitoring and activities tools.
∎ Ensure field concerns and challenges are brought to relevant stakeholders to push for standards and procedures that systematize how GS is implemented and coordinated at camp level.
∎ Contribute to reports, sitrep and to the preparation of new proposals.
∎ Design and facilitate relevant training for staff and others.
∎ Report project progress and monitor project activities:
∎ Follow-up the implementation of GS activities and ensure the quality through regular monitoring and technical support, data collection and management
∎ Build capacity of DCA staff and relevant stakeholders to ensure a reliable M&E system for better GS data management, and ethical GS data collection and information management
∎ Prepare case study, concept notes, and reports.
∎ Coordination, collaboration, Networking:
∎ Lead ongoing coordination and collaboration with implementing partner organization involved in the implementation of Girl Shine to ensure transparency, consistency, and open communication.
∎ Carry out and update a mapping of all actors responding to GBV and develop a strong network
∎ Coordinate the community mobilization activities in close collaboration with partners, GBV actors as well as other stakeholders
∎ Participate in the GBV sub sectors meetings and actively contribute to coordination efforts
∎ Establish and maintain close link with logistics and finance officers. Coordinate Procurement - Logistics Officer and supervisor and ensure that program related procurement has been carried out smoothly.
∎ Represent DCA if and when needed in relevant cluster and coordination meetings
∎ Staff Supervision and Capacity building:
∎ Provide regular supervision, mentoring, guidance and required training to staff.
∎ Provide technical support to Frontline staff (Adolescent Girl Officers, Mentors and Partner Staffs)
∎ Ensure that all GS staff understands code of conducts also ensure policy compliances.
∎ Develop and conduct / facilitate trainings for DCA staff and others on relevant GBV topics such as GBV Core concepts, case management.
∎ Other duties as requested by the supervisor to enable and develop DCA programs.
∎ Accountability and Core Humanitarian Standard:
∎ Work to strengthen complaint - feedback mechanism of DCA.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Understanding of emergency response and four years of relevant professional experience, including experience in gender, GBV, Women's Empowerment or protection programming;
∎ Experience implementing adolescent and youth programming
∎ Strong management experience and ability to work well with a team;
∎ Proven experience in developing and delivering training and of group facilitation;
∎ Demonstrated sensitivity to protection issues, including application of the principle of confidentiality;
∎ Ability to exercise sound judgment;
∎ Extremely strong communication skills, with good understanding of relevant cross-cultural and sensitive issues;
∎ Excellent qualitative and quantitative reporting skills;
∎ Strong problem-solving and innovation to address gaps and challenges;
∎ Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to produce timely and high quality of work;
∎ Demonstrated high level of flexibility, responsiveness, and reliability;
∎ Ability to work under pressure and strong time management skills to meet both short-term and long-term objectives;
∎ Strict adherence to humanitarian and Protection principles and standards, as well as organizational policies including Code of Conduct and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA);
∎ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
∎ Fluency in both Bangla and English.
