Responsibilities & Context:
∎ This position is responsible for ensuring technical accuracy, production readiness, and quality standards across all woven product lines. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet buyers and production.
∎ Analyze and review technical packs, specifications, samples, and associated artwork to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
∎ Compare patterns against samples for accuracy and technical feasibility.
∎ Conduct pre-cutting meetings with the cutting team and pilot technicians to ensure clear understanding of cutting methods, fabric matching requirements, special cut marks, and seam allowances.
∎ Develop special sewing operations using available machinery to optimize production processes and quality.
∎ Lead pre-production meetings with SMS technical and quality teams to review final sample comments and address potential challenges.
∎ Collaborate with the sample room to plan SMS production lines effectively.
∎ Perform first garment checks with dummy fittings to identify and implement necessary improvements.
∎ Oversee critical sample evaluations for customer-specific requirements and propose technical enhancements.
∎ Monitor washing processes for SMS samples, ensuring compliance with specifications.
∎ Handle sending and receiving washed products with thorough documentation.
∎ Participate in risk assessment meetings at the sample room to proactively identify and mitigate production risks.
∎ Attend meetings with buying offices to discuss SMS and other sample-related matters.
∎ Represent the technical team during buyers visits, showcasing expertise and ensuring customer satisfaction.
