Experience:
A strong portfolio demonstrating gameplay design, animation, or interactive work may substitute for formal education.
Exposure to modern, AI-assisted creative or production workflows is considered an advantage.
Hands-on experience in game design fundamentals, including gameplay mechanics, progression systems, balancing, and player psychology.
Practical experience in animation and motion design for games, including character, object, UI, or interaction animations.
Familiarity with Unity (Animator, animation setup, or implementation awareness) within a game production environment.
Experience designing for mobile and/or web-based games, with an understanding of performance and usability constraints.
Comfort using AI-assisted tools to accelerate ideation, animation, prototyping, and iteration.
Working knowledge of UI/UX principles as applied to games.
Additional experience with basic scripting (C#, visual scripting), VFX, Spine/Blender, Unreal Engine, or WebGL pipelines is a plus.
Design engaging gameplay mechanics, loops, progression systems, and level concepts, optimized for mobile and web platforms.
Prepare concise game design documentation and collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation in Unity and web builds.
Animate characters, objects, UI elements, and interactions, applying strong animation principles to enhance game feel and responsiveness.
Create UI animations, transitions, feedback effects, and simple visual effects to improve clarity, polish, and player engagement.
Leverage AI-assisted tools to speed up ideation, animation workflows, asset iteration, and rapid prototyping while maintaining quality standards.
Support UI/UX design by ensuring smooth player flow, intuitive interfaces, and clear gameplay communication.
Participate actively in playtesting, iteration, and data- or feedback-driven improvements to gameplay and user experience.
Work in close coordination with developers, taking ownership of features from concept through playable builds within fast production cycles.
Clearly communicate design intent, animation logic, and implementation requirements to ensure efficient collaboration and timely delivery.
