Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct periodic and surprise field audits across pharmacy outlets to ensure compliance with financial and operational policies.
Verify inventory accuracy, stock movement, and expiry management to prevent shrinkage and loss.
Review cash transactions, billing accuracy, and POS records to detect discrepancies or irregularities.
Evaluate adherence to regulatory standards related to pharmacy operations and drug handling.
Identify internal control gaps and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Investigate suspected fraud, pilferage, or operational malpractice and prepare audit findings.
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting risks, non-compliance areas, and improvement recommendations.
Ensure implementation of corrective action plans through follow-up audits and monitoring.
Analyze operational data to detect anomalies in sales, stock variance, and transaction patterns.
Coordinate with operations, finance, and compliance teams to strengthen governance frameworks.
Support management in risk assessment and development of audit protocols for pharmacy operations.
Maintain strict confidentiality of audit findings and sensitive organizational information.
