Ø Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
Ø Ability to interpret data, statistics, and research reports into visual formats.
Ø Knowledge of data visualisation tools will be an advantage.
Ø Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
Ø Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
1. Designing high-quality infographics, charts, data visualisations, and illustrations for print and digital platforms.
2. Converting complex economic, financial, and statistical information into visually appealing graphics.
3. Collaborating with editors, reporters, and the digital team to conceptualise visual storytelling.
4. Developing layouts and visual elements for special pages, supplements, news times, and feature stories.
5. Ensuring consistency with the newspaper’s visual identity and editorial standards.
6. Meeting tight editorial deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
