Additional Requirements:

Minimum 4–5 years in multi-store retail management or pharmaceutical sales, preferably with a retail pharmacy chain.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Sound understanding of pharmacy retail operations and regulatory compliance.
Analytical and data-driven decision-making.
Proficient in MS Excel, POS systems, and basic CRM tools.



Responsibilities & Context:

1. Sales & Business Performance

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned area.

  • Monitor and analyze outlet-wise performance; initiate corrective actions as needed.

  • Drive category-wise sales (prescription, OTC, Alternative, Non-pharma, health devices, etc.).

2. Team Management

  • Supervise and support Branch Managers/Pharmacists to ensure high-performing teams.

  • Conduct regular Outlet visits for performance review, coaching, and training.

  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of Outlet staff.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, pharmacy regulations, and brand standards at all outlets.

  • Monitor store hygiene, merchandising, stock management, and customer service quality.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

4. Customer Engagement & Market Development

  • Support marketing and promotional campaigns in the region.

  • Identify local business development opportunities and partnerships (clinics, hospitals, etc.).

  • Analyze competitor activity and recommend strategies to retain market edge.

5. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure outlets are compliant with local pharmacy laws and Model Pharmacy standards.

  • Submit accurate reports on sales, inventory, staffing, and compliance metrics.

  • Address audit findings and implement preventive actions where necessary.
