Company Overview

We are a US-based manufacturing ecommerce company that designs and sells decorative metal products including:

• metal wall art

• yard sculptures

• privacy panels

• fire pits

• architectural metal décor

• custom fabricated steel products

Our designs are manufactured using CNC plasma and laser cutting machines by fabrication partners in the United States.

We are building a large product catalog of original designs, and we are looking for talented vector designers to help us create new products.

This is a long-term full-time remote opportunity for designers who enjoy creating original artwork and want to grow with a fast-moving international company.

Position Overview

We are hiring a CAD / Vector Designer to create original decorative metal designs suitable for plasma cutting and laser cutting.

These designs will become real physical products sold online.

Your work will directly impact the company’s product catalog and revenue.

This is creative work, but it also requires understanding how designs must be structured so they can be manufactured from steel.

Key Responsibilities

Create original vector artwork for metal products including:

• animal silhouettes

• nature scenes

• western / rustic designs

• ornamental wall art

• decorative privacy panels

• garden art

• metal sculptures

• layered metal designs

Prepare clean vector files for CNC cutting including:

• DXF

• AI

• SVG

Ensure designs are manufacturable by:

• maintaining correct line continuity

• avoiding floating elements

• maintaining proper minimum metal thickness

• designing structural bridges and connections

• preparing slot-and-tab assembly parts when required

Deliver consistent design output according to production schedule.

Expected Output

After onboarding and training, designers are expected to produce approximately:

15–30 finished designs per week

depending on complexity.

Quality and manufacturability are more important than speed.

Required Skills

Applicants must demonstrate strong experience in vector design software, including at least one of the following:

• Adobe Illustrator

• CorelDraw

• Inkscape

• AutoCAD (vector work)

You must also understand:

• node editing

• vector path cleanup

• exporting clean DXF files

• layered vector construction

Manufacturing Awareness (Important)

Designs must work for CNC plasma or laser cutting.

You should understand or be willing to learn concepts such as:

• minimum metal thickness

• cut path continuity

• bridges between elements

• kerf allowances

• tab and slot assembly

• structural support in designs

Designs that cannot be manufactured will not be accepted.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• strong vector illustration skills

• experience creating detailed artwork

• ability to follow design guidelines

• ability to deliver work consistently

• strong attention to detail

• good written English communication

• reliable internet connection

• own computer capable of running design software

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Experience in any of the following is a strong advantage:

• laser cut design

• plasma cutting artwork

• CNC vector preparation

• sign design

• architectural ornament design

• decorative pattern creation

Compensation

Salary:

Approximately 45000 BDT per month

This is a full-time remote position.

High performers may receive salary increases and promotion opportunities.
