Job Responsibilities:
∎ Welcome and greet guests, answer and direct incoming calls
∎ Inform guests of hotel rates and services
∎ Provide a high level of customer service and maintain a high profile in the day to day front office operations.
∎ Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy.
∎ Monitor customer satisfaction (Guest Feedback, Social Media Review).
∎ Make and confirm reservations for guests and confirm relevant guest information
∎ Ensure proper room allocation and register and check guests in
∎ Verify guest's payment method, imprint credit cards for authorization
∎ Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms
∎ Maintain clear and accurate records of guest room bookings
∎ Compute all guest billings, accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
∎ Monitor the front desk and ensure all employees comply with all security procedures for visitors.
∎ Receive and transmit messages for guests and retrieve mail, packages and documents such as faxes for guests
∎ Listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone
∎ Provide accurate information about local attractions and services
∎ Liaise with necessary staff including housekeeping and maintenance to address any problems or complaints made by guests
∎ Complete and maintain any incident reports, daily activity reports or other reports requested by management
∎ Manage conference room bookings and scheduling
∎ Close guest accounts and check guests out
∎ Monitor visitors to the hotel
∎ Review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process
∎ Process accurate payment of guest accounts
∎ Inform housekeeping when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning
∎ Ensures you are well presented (uniforms, personal hygiene etc), and also punctual.
∎ Enforces all cash handling, check cashing, and credit policies.
∎ Enforce rules and policies of the hotel
∎ Maintain a neat and orderly front desk and reception area
∎ Demonstrates strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
∎ Works well with a variety of different individuals

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply.
∎ Guest/customer relations experience in hotel in must.
∎ Strong working knowledge of relevant computer software including MS Office and booking and payment systems
∎ Administrative skills
∎ Proficiency in English, preferable other language as well
∎ Excellent verbal and written English required.
∎ Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, Excellent communication skills required.
∎ Ability to work independently.
