Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, coordination, and monitoring the mangrove plantation activities.
∎ Provide technical support for mangrove plantation.
∎ Maintain strong liaison with the Forest department, Water development board, Department of Agriculture Extension, and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Regularly monitoring the growth and development of the trees
∎ Educating the community people about environmental conservation issues and forest management practices
∎ Conducting research about the importance of plantation activities and understand how to impact on livelihood
∎ Mapping the plantation activities
∎ Provide capacity building training to the staff and beneficiaries
∎ Assist the supervisor for planning, staffing, and budgeting etc.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have experience and expertise in mangrove plantation
∎ Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
∎ Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, self-starter, works well in a team independently and adjust to changing priorities, critical and strategic thinker
∎ Have proficiency at ms office applications
∎ Travel extensively in the southern part of Bangladesh.
∎ Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills
∎ Have ability to prepare report written
