Job Context:
The Food QC Inspector is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished food products in compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and customer requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, laboratory tests, and documentation to maintain consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct routine sampling, testing, and sensory evaluation (taste, smell, appearance, texture, etc.).
Maintain and monitor hygiene and sanitation standards in production and storage areas.
Record and report quality deviations or non-conformities to the QC Officer/Manager.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, etc.).
Verify the accuracy of product labeling, packaging, and batch coding.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of testing instruments.
Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
Participate in internal and external audits related to quality and food safety.
Maintain accurate QC records, test results, and inspection reports.
