Job Responsibilities:
∎ Daily floor visit to monitor, Check the all fire safety items & keep record. If find any kinds of discrepancy immediately report to your senior authority.
∎ Update the daily, weekly & Monthly required register & submit to the senior authority.
∎ Ensure that all fire and safety equipment in an establishment are in good shape always.
∎ Make sure that there are well-developed plans for easy evacuation of people in a building in the case of a fire outbreak.
∎ Assist Administration to renewal Fire license once in a year.
∎ Conduct fire evacuation drill every month with the concern of Management & keep record as per law.
∎ Update the fire fighter & rescue team list every month & fill the gaps with selecting & trained the employees if necessary.
∎ Conduct external fire training by Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense to meet the 6% each Fire fighter & rescue team member as per land law.
∎ Selecting employees for external fire training & approved it by the higher authority.
∎ Update the check sheet of fire extinguishers once in a month that are expired or not. If expired, then riffled it by approved fire service provider.
∎ Monitor & identify the electrical fire hazard in every 15 days’ interval and report to the senior authority.
∎ Enforce safety codes and regulations/guidelines within a particular organization.
∎ Carry out training and enlightenment of co-workers or employees as regards general fire safety rules and procedures.
∎ Address any form of violation of safety codes within the organization.
∎ Investigate and implement appropriate disciplinary action on violators of safety codes within the establishment.
∎ Ensure fire safety for the workplace & building.
∎ Daily fire equipment check & maintain needful action.
∎ Make evacuation plan for fire... safety.
∎ Conduct fire drill monthly & giving training to the worker & staff. Regular/weekly fire training.
∎ Create reports for management on security status
∎ Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology).
