Skills Required: Garments Finishing,Production Management (Finishing)
Additional Requirements:
- Age 35 to 45 years
Strong knowledge of outerwear/jacket finishing processes including washed garments.
Sound understanding of quality standards and buyer requirements.
Expertise in finishing layout, workflow optimization, and productivity improvement.
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight shipment deadlines.
Familiarity with compliance standards (BEPZA / social compliance / buyer protocols).
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee end-to-end finishing operations including thread cutting, trimming, washing coordination, ironing, inspection, and packing.
Ensure shipment readiness as per T&A plan and buyer compliance standards.
Maintain high-quality standards through inline, pre-final, and final inspection processes.
Monitor daily finishing output, efficiency, and DHU; implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, IE, and Merchandising teams to resolve finishing-related issues.
Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, work instructions, and compliance requirements.
Lead and develop finishing team, including supervisors, iron men, checkers, and packers.
Handle buyer audits, third-party inspections, and compliance requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to finishing performance and shipment status.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
