JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Financial Monitoring Specialist (Full-time, Remote) to monitor financial transactions and internal processes to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of payment systems and fraud/transaction risk indicators.

You will be responsible for daily transaction monitoring, data analysis, verification of payments, checking/replying to client requests, and preparing clear monitoring reports.

This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working with large volumes of data. Both experienced professionals and candidates with strong foundational knowledge of finance and excellent computer skills are encouraged to apply.

EDUCATION.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is a plus.

• Relevant experience and/or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and analyze customer transaction activity to identify unusual patterns, discrepancies, and potential fraud/risk indicators.

• Review and process case referrals related to transactions (as per procedures).

• Work with client requests and complaints, including transaction-related inquiries.

• Control and monitor internal financial processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

• Perform daily monitoring and analysis of financial data and system reports.

• Verify the accuracy and legitimacy of payments before processing or escalation.

• Conduct user verification checks in accordance with company procedures and policy.

• Cooperate with the Support/Operations team to resolve customer inquiries related to transactions and account activity.

• Prepare and submit clear, concise reports on monitoring findings and completed work.

• Check and ensure the accuracy of large datasets using MS Excel and other relevant tools.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.

• Experience in finance, banking, fintech, or a related field is a strong plus.

• Candidates with a strong understanding of financial principles and good computer skills are welcome to apply.

• Freshers are encouraged to apply, provided they have relevant foundational knowledge and strong Excel/computer skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding of digital international payment system principles and transaction flows.

• Basic knowledge of bank operations processes.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data filtering).

• Experience working with large datasets accurately (or ability to do so with high attention to detail).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
