Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate in Economics, International Relation, Accounting, Business or Finance. Chartered Accountancy Course Complete and partly qualified will be given more preference.

Job Context:
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed Term up to 28 February 2021
∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective financial support to the projects and programmes, ensuring adequate funds, timely and professional payment to suppliers. S/he will also ensure efficient and effective grant compliance and grant reporting system for the Emergency Response related projects including timely financial reporting to Donor, HO Dhaka and government. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring consistent, transparent and realistic budgeting, accounting, and analysis of the budget and provide support to the budget holders for appropriate cost allocation and budget codes

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Budget and Grant Management: Prepare a funding analysis for the Rohingya Response project and submit the forecast to Grant and Finance Specialist - Rohingya Response for further analysis
∎ Financial Management: Ensuring effective review and thorough checking of all payment request in line with the financial and taxation policy; ensuring all payments are processed and by finance in a timely way, to ensure they adhere to organisational policy and all taxation matters follow government rules and regulations.
∎ Financial monitoring: Conduct regular financial monitoring of the field office to ensure the correct coding, accounting record as per concern and donor policy.
∎ Internal Control and Compliance: Ensuring depth and up to date knowledge on existing financial and other policies affecting financial transactions for explaining the policies accurately.
∎ Audit Management and other reporting and Management: Ensuring a complete audit trail for each financial transactions, allocation, reallocations etc. and comprehensive filing system for all transactions.
∎ Others: Any other duties as specified by the Line Manager/Emergency Director.
∎ Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies and Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability (CHS) to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years' experience in grant management/finance/accounting role with an international NGO or International consultancy firm specialising in commercial contracts and fund management.
∎ Knowledge of the operational and compliance requirements of Rohingya Response or Emergency Projects will be considered added advantage
∎ Experience in financial risk management.
∎ Experience of management supporting /monitoring /capacity building NGOs
∎ Proven experience of developing and facilitating training workshops for finance and non-finance managers.
∎ Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office programmes such as Word and Excel as well accounting packages & other database competencies
∎ Excellent written and spoken English

Salary:
∎ Tk. 788928 - 973728 (Yearly)
∎ The gross annual salary range (inclusive of hardship allowance) will be from BDT 788,928/- to BDT 973,728/-
