Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Finance or Accounting
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare financial plan/fund request/cash call for ESDO SHOUHARDO III Project.
∎ Prepare all bills/Invoices and vouchers relevant with expenses incurred with SHOUHARDO III Project.
∎ Check and verify the bills/Invoices as per plan and process for payment.
∎ To ensure the CARE and USAID compliance before any payment.
∎ To ensure that every bill/invoice/vouchers are cross checked with other documents with fact and figures
∎ Maintain all accounts related books and documents such as cashbook, Bank book/check issue register, ledger, subsidiary ledger and other financial documentation associate with financial management.
∎ Prepare, update and preserve financial related information, files, documentation, and database for financial management.
∎ Assist for ensure procurement process maintaining proper procurement policy.
∎ To ensure that every bills/Invoice are properly approved before payment made.
∎ Update the books of accounts and end of the day supervisor's signature to be taken regularly.
∎ Prepare and assist to prepare the annual budget for SHOUHARDO III Project.
∎ Monitor the approved budget with day to day actual expenditure as per program need.
∎ Prepare budget and expenses summary report and identify any deviation, made recommendation to Management.
∎ Assist to the SHOUHARDO III Project management for proper financial planning, controlling and monitoring
∎ To ensure day to day cash and bank management including all sorts of banking jobs.
∎ To ensure proper management of petty cash management.
∎ To ensure that petty cash is kept in safe custody and the limit is not exceeds as per policy.
∎ Prepare all kind of financial reports (Trial Balance, Receipt & Payment Account, Budget and Expenditure Statement, Cash and Expenditure Status, Cash Recap by Bank Account, Bank Reconciliation Statement etc.).
∎ Prepare expenditure statements; conduct internal auditing, and maintaining books of accounts properly.
∎ To ensure the preparation and submission of financial report to APM-Finance & Operation/Project Manager as stipulated deadline.
∎ Assist to prepare different agreement with landlord, vendors and other parties.
∎ Maintain proper coordination and communication among the ESDO SHOUHARDO III project personnel.
∎ Assist staff in different compliance issues of USAD & CARE, ensure USAID and GoB compliance issues to the project
∎ Coordinate and communicate with Bank authority for any deviation.
∎ To ensure proper coordination with APM/PM, Assistant Finance Officer, Administrative Assistant and others project staffs for any official or reporting purposes.
∎ To ensure the coordination among various vendors, counterparts, staff members and other stakeholders.
∎ Any others project relevant task given by the supervisor/PM.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3 years practical experience in financial management of large project; Proven skill in financial management, managing of donor funds, GAAP, VAT, Tax & donor compliance specially for USAID compliance requirements;
∎ Skilled in budget preparation, budget monitoring and review of project expenses;
∎ Proficiency in computer, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power point) and email communication are essential;
∎ Sound in procurement procedure and different payment procedures. Major functions are Financial Reporting, fund projection, different payment,
Salary: Tk. 31298 (Monthly)
