Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Accounting or other related discipline).

Job Context:
∎ ASTHA is a Swiss Government funded project which will be supported by Rupantar and will be implemented in Netrokona, Mymensingh & Sherpur districts by Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS).

∎ SUS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial and Logistic Officer to manage financial operations and logistical aspects of our projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective financial management, controlling project expenditures, maintaining accurate records and optimizing logistical processes. His/her contribution will be crucial in supporting our mission and ensuring the success of the project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
∎ Provide guidance and support to the project team on financial matters.
∎ Ensure effective financial management by analyzing budget utilization and cost variances.
∎ Track and control project expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
∎ Review expense claims and invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas of contribution to recommend strategies for improving financial efficiency.
∎ Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation to ensure transparency and visibility of financial transactions.
∎ Maintain inventory records, track stock levels and facilitate timely replenishment.
∎ Manage the logistics of equipment and supplies, ensuring their proper storage, distribution and maintenance.
∎ Prepare financial reports, statements and documentation as required.
∎ Assist in the preparation of donor reports and grant-related financial information.
∎ Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and internal controls.
∎ Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal audit processes.
∎ Coordinate and oversee the procurement process, including ensuring systematic vendor selection, contract negotiation and purchase order management.
∎ Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and regulations.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to assist the program team in event conduction and provide necessary logistic support.
∎ Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
∎ Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to address financial queries and resolve issues.
∎ Assist with financial audits and ensure accurate and timely submission of financial documentation.
∎ Coordinate logistics for project activities, including transportation, accommodation and event planning.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers, contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
∎ Collaborate with project team, the financial department and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between financial and logistical activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Proven experience in finance, accounting or related field.
∎ Proven experience in financial management, logistics or similar role.
∎ Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft office applications.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:
∎ BDT: 60000/- (Negotiable).
