Experience:
Bachelor`s/Master`s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Management, or any relevant subject
Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in the development sector.
Knowledge and Experience in managing donor-funded projects, budgeting, procurement, finance, monitoring, and external audits
Skill in Computer software such as MS-Office, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Bangla language.
Fluency in Chittagonian and/or Rohingya is a plus for this position.
Prior experience of working in the greater Chittagong Division and knowledge.
Willing to take the challenge of working in a participatory approach for the Rohingya Community/ Host Community.
Ability to work in a team and with good networking and interpersonal skills
Good reporting and documentation skills
Ability to drive a motorcycle with a valid driving license
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as a team player who demonstrates leadership and is able to support and train local staff, and also able to work with disaster-affected communities in a sensitive and participatory manner.

Project Context: Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is implementing a protection project in partnership with an International Organization under its Humanitarian Response Program, Cox's Bazar.
Job Responsibilities: The position will be recruited to implement the project based at the Field Office with substantial field activities at different camps and the host community at Teknaf.
The Finance & Admin Officer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day administrative, financial, and record-keeping management of the Project. S/he will be reportable to the Project Coordinator, and s/he will have a functional relationship with the Finance Manager, Humanitarian Response Program.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• Preparing vouchers, checking bills.
• Record keeping of all invoices and other bills, staff advance, etc, and cross-check for quality, ensuring checking petty cash expenses, daily cash count sheet, and petty cash reimbursement
• Purchasing all kinds of stationery for this section and keeping a stock register.
• Maintain and preserve Books of accounts such as: Cash Book/ Fixed Assets Register/General and subsidiary ledger/ Cheque issue register.
• S/He will ensure the internal financial audit, especially at the field level.
• S/He will ensure proper inventory of resources at the field level. Assist Liaison and correspondence with various Banks. Organization, NGO, and other offices.
• Maintain the office administration according to the FIVDB’s policies and procedures.
Equal to 2 (two) basic or on a pro-rata basis.
