Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Participate in the Baseline Survey in a wide range of specific areas for the selection of programme participants.
∎ Participate in data analysis and beneficiary selection.
∎ Ensure availability of essential goods and services among the beneficiaries.
∎ Regular communication with government offices, local administration, various stakeholders and ensure their participation in the programme.
∎ Support purchase and sale committee in collecting quotation & preparing comparative statements.
∎ Attend & arrange various meeting, seminars etc. if needed.
∎ Contribute to preparing action plan, different articles, reports, good practices, etc.
∎ Ensure that the goods and services provided are being utilize appropriately by the beneficiaries through follow-up and monitoring.
∎ All other works assigned by the Project Coordinator of Emergency Response Project (ERP) Sylhet and In-Charge, SOS Children’s Village Sylhet.
∎ SOS Children's Village International in Bangladesh (www.sos-bangladesh.org) is a non-governmental social devolvement organisation provides care for the children who have lost parental care or who are at risk of losing parental care and deprived of caring family environment. SOS Children's Villages works in more than 130 countries and territories around the world. In Bangladesh, we have been working since 1972 and presently has programmes in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Chattogram, Bogura, Sylhet and Bagerhat.
∎ Our Programmes contribute to delivering on SDGs with a special focus on our target group to improve national social protection system, fighting inequalities, promoting access to quality education, strengthening youth employability and ending violence against children.
∎ Area of Responsibilities:
