Minimum of two years` experience in relevant fields.
Capacity to write persuasive fundraising proposals with a proven track record.

Sound knowledge of ICT, especially in word processing, MS Excel, presentations, and advanced internet surfing.

SOS Children’s Village International is probably the largest private child welfare humanitarian organization working more than 130 countries and territories in the world. In Bangladesh, we started our operations in Dhaka in 1972, and since then we have expanded our activities from here to Rajshahi, Khulna, Bagerhat, Chattogram, Bogura and Sylhet.
Our Programmes contribute to delivering on SDGs with a special focus on our target group to improve national social protection system, fighting inequalities, promoting access to quality education, strengthening youth employability and ending violence against children.
SOS Bangladesh is seeking competent candidates for the smooth operation of the following position.
Location of job: National Office-Dhaka
Nature of Job: Contractual up to 31 December 2026 (Renewable based on the availability of Funds)
Area of Responsibilities:
Organise and coordinate YouthCan! Mentoring sessions/events.
Prepare participant list, communicate and coordinate with the Participants, Youth Leaders, and YouthCan! Coworkers to ensure smooth implementation of the projects.
Plan, organize, and execute YouthCan! programmes and activities that cater to the interests and developmental needs of young people within the community.
Develop proposals and manage budgets for youth programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
Report writing after completing each event/session with photographs and videos.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the sessions of YouthCan! programmes.
Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to make informed improvements.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local schools, organizations, and community groups to collaborate on youth initiatives and expand program offerings.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of youth programs, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders to make informed improvements.
Advocate for the needs and interests of young people within the organization and the wider community, including attending meetings and participating in forums where youth issues are discussed.
Data management through using ProDiGi.
Design and distribute promotional materials and communications, such as newsletters, social media posts, and flyers, to increase awareness and participation in youth programs.
