Job Context:

∎ Job Summary: Prottyashi, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Host community of Cox`s Bazar with the funding of International Organization of Migration (IOM). Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- Field Supervisor for the "Integrating environmental management into DRR and DRM in Cox`s Bazar Host Communities, Bangladesh" Project.
∎ Reporting: Field Supervisor will report to Training Hub Manager. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization`s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in identifying and selecting beneficiaries of the project following the beneficiary selection criteria.
∎ Conduct need assessment survey in the targeted host community using the Enumerators.
∎ Create profile of the beneficiaries including their present situation and expected situation.
∎ Supervise and monitor the activities to be based on the Production and Innovation hubs.
∎ Create batches of the beneficiaries for the arrangement of training in the host community.
∎ Mobilize the project beneficiaries to adopt the project deliveries through active participation.
∎ Maintain marketing of the products of participants through maintaining communication with market actors.
∎ Supervise business initiatives of the project beneficiaries through regular visits to the beneficiaries' households and providing necessary guidance.
∎ Coordinate with market actors to instigate income generation of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist in tracking income generation of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist Training Hub Manager to link the beneficiaries with the market actors relevant to the preferred businesses of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist the beneficiaries in enterprise development through utilizing the need-based input supports they will be provided with.
∎ Organize product exhibitions, linkage building meetings to promote products of the beneficiaries.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 01 year of professional experience in development sector working directly with the beneficiaries.
∎ Other Required Competencies: Must be able to drive motorcycle.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary will be 30,879 BDT with regular traveling and communication bill.
