Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is designed to support UN Agencies, Funds and Programmes in Bangladesh, through security advice and guidance so to enable the UN agencies to conduct their operations in the safest way possible as well as enabling the safety and security of UN staff and assets nationwide.
∎ Under the immediate supervision of the Field Security Coordination Officer Cox's Bazar and under overall guidance and management of the Security Adviser (SA) based in Dhaka, the LSA assists in the implementation of UN security operations in Cox's Bazar and Bhashan Char.

Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 5 years' experience in security, military or police or related field of work.
∎ Previous work experience in the UN is an asset.
∎ Formal training in Security Risk Management is an asset.
∎ Knowledge of VHF radio operation;
∎ Knowledge of host country safety codes;
∎ Solid computers skills (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint);
∎ Possession of a valid driver's license
∎ Ability to travel
∎ Physically fit
