∎ Minimum of 2 years of experience in training facilitation specially on Agriculture Practices, community engagement, or similar roles.
∎ Experience in organizing and conducting training sessions for community-based organizations.
∎ Strong knowledge of climate-adaptive agriculture, gender inclusion, and value chain development.
∎ Familiarity with SHG management, financial literacy, and livelihood promotion strategies.
∎ Excellent communication, networking, and facilitation skills.
∎ Ability to work in remote field locations with diverse community groups.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Contract Duration: Till 31st January 2026.
∎ PROTTYASHI, a social development organization has been working for the development of disadvantaged population of the country since its establishment with an aim to ensure everyone to live with dignity and prosperity. PROTTYASHI reaches the community with basic needs and supports to save lives and facilitate all the people of the community to live with equal value and priority. PROTTYASHI works for the disadvantaged portion of the population in community addressing their pressing needs following the strategies contextually viable and environmentally sustainable. PROTTYASHI has been actively supporting the refugee population in the humanitarian response in Cox’s Bazar as one of the first responders since August 2017 along with the affected host and local communities in Cox’s Bazar. PROTTYASHI has been vigilantly supporting these crises affected population to accomplish its promised commitment towards humanity and people living in distress.
∎ To ensure improved food security and livelihood for the affected host and local communities of Cox’s Bazar helping them meet nutritional requirement in an environmentally sustainable manner, PROTTYASHI is going to implement “Livelihood” Activity of WFP Cox’s Bazar Resilience Programme in Ramu Upazila/Sub-district. PROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Field Facilitator for the Project and encourages the persons enthusiastic to contribute to the increased resilience of the humanitarian crisis affected host and local communities in Bangladesh. This position will be responsible for accomplishing field mobilization and facilitation of agriculture based skills development initiatives at the communities.
∎ Field Facilitator will report to the Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
∎ Conduct inception meetings at the Upazila level to introduce project objectives and engage key stakeholders.
∎ Organize and facilitate training sessions on Climate-Adaptive Agriculture, Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
∎ Conduct training on Post-Harvest Management & Value Chain Development to strengthen market linkages.
∎ Provide agricultural input support to beneficiaries and ensure proper utilization.
∎ Identify and train lead farmers to act as change agents within the community.
∎ Organize advanced training on off-farm activities to diversify livelihood opportunities.
∎ Facilitate learning visits/cross visits for knowledge exchange and exposure.
∎ Conduct refreshers for the Executive Committee (EC) of Self Help Groups (SHGs) on financial inclusion, financial management, and fundraising strategies.
∎ Facilitate refresher training on conflict resolution and group mobilization for SHGs.
∎ Strengthen linkage, network, and coordination between service providers, Apex Committees, and Area Coordination & Management Committees (ACMC) for effective resource mobilization.
∎ Deliver training on Food Safety and Risk Assessment to improve food security and safety practices.
∎ Organize training on Modern Agricultural Technology and Natural Fertilizer application for improved productivity.
∎ Conduct training on Gender, Protection, and Women Empowerment to foster inclusivity and resilience.
∎ Establish demonstration plots for fruit cultivation to promote sustainable agricultural practices.
∎ Organize Behavior Change Communication (BCC) trainings covering Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Nutrition, Gender, and Financial Literacy.
∎ Provide orientation on Disability Inclusion and Screening (Washington Group methodology).
∎ Conduct Anti-Fraud Awareness sessions on Mobile Money Transfers (MMT) to ensure transparency and accountability.
∎ Prepare case studies to capture project outcomes, challenges, and key learnings.
