About the Role

We are looking for a skilled FastAPI developer to join our backend engineering team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling high-performance APIs using FastAPI, with a strong focus on Python async programming, clean architecture, and robust deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using FastAPI and Python (async/await).

• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases using SQLAlchemy or other ORMs.

• Work with Docker to containerize services and streamline deployments.

• Collaborate with the frontend and DevOps teams for seamless integration and CI/CD.

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to system architecture decisions.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with FastAPI and asynchronous Python.

• Solid understanding of Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and REST API principles.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and efficient database modeling.

• Good understanding of Docker, and modern deployment workflows.

• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.

• Ability to write clean, modular code and reusable components.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with authentication (OAuth2, JWT).

• CI/CD experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean).

• Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub portfolio.
