Responsibilities & Context:
Manage design process from conception through to final styling
Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques and seeking design inspiration
Select fabrics and trims
Conduct brainstorming, designing and producing concepts
Adapt existing designs for bulk production
Create production sketches and technical package
Review product for style and fit during presentation
Follow planning of seasons/festivals and create design accordingly
Ensure materials booking in advance for next seasons sample development
Develop and explore new techniques for design purpose like- new washing, new dyeing technique, new printing technique, embroidery, fit and silhouette development etc.
