∎ Graduated in Fashion Designing from any reputed University.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design/Textile Design or related field.
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology, BUFT, Shanto Mariam University of Creative, ,Technology students will get preference.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ 2-3+ years of experience in fashion design (preferably in an export-oriented garment factory).
∎ Strong portfolio showcasing creative designs.
∎ Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, Emails).
∎ Knowledge of fabric properties, garment construction, and pattern making.
∎ Understanding of buyer-specific design requirements and market trends.
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Research global fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and trims for upcoming seasons.
∎ Create innovative designs, mood board, sketches, and tech packs, concept presentations, and sample collections for buyers.
∎ Collaborate with merchandising and production teams to ensure design feasibility and ensure quality standards.
∎ Oversee sample development and provide feedback for improvements.
∎ Work closely with buyers to align designs with their requirements.
∎ Ensure designs meet quality, fit, and compliance standards.
∎ Select appropriate fabrics, embroidery styles, color palettes, and embellishments.
∎ Follow market trends and provide input for seasonal collections.
∎ Conduct regular research on competitors and fashion trends (local & international).
∎ Collaborating with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate.
∎ Maintain close relationship with the marketing and merchandising team to create ranges for all customers.
∎ Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers and reviewing product for style and fit during presentation.
∎ Design & develop knit fabrics for buyers
∎ Negotiating with customers and suppliers
∎ Any other responsibility assign by the management.
