Responsibilities & Context:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to ensure timely output of bakery and sweet items.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and utilities to meet production schedules.
- Optimize manpower utilization, machinery, and processes to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-control measures.
- Ensure machinery, ovens, and equipment are properly maintained and functional.
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) systems to maintain consistent product standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards (BSTI, ISO, HACCP, etc.).
- Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Investigate customer complaints related to quality and implement corrective measures.
- Develop and enforce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for production and quality control.
- Lead, train, and motivate the production and quality assurance teams.
- Ensure discipline, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of production and QA staff.
- Maintain records of production, wastage, quality tests, and audit reports.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on production efficiency, quality performance, and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and factory policies.
