Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in manufacturing
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Quality Management
∎ Training/Trade Course: Quality Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fabric Manufacturing, Garments Textile, Wet Processing in Home Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive Innovation & newness in raw materials and fabrics .
∎ • Utilize technical expertise to develop fabrics that meet customer design aesthetic & quality requirements
∎ • Build & maintain a fabric resource library to support seasonal development & reference
∎ • Approve all development and bulk cuttings
∎ • Coordinate all spinning and weaving meetings seasonally
∎ • Travel to fabric shows
∎ • Coordinate all sample yardage requests seasonally
∎ • Partner closely with production and marketing strategy .
∎ • Work closely with spinning, weaving and wet process team on any potential improvement issues with fabric .
∎ • Recommend fabric construction changes and/or finishing to achieve required hand feel as well as passing test results
∎ • Creating & managing fabric libraries, both physical & digital
∎ • Provide design/guide/marketing teams with product knowledge
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
