Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Skills Required: 3 to 4 years experience in same position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing fabric sourcing and development process to meet the customer needs and Technical requirement.
∎ Analyze TECHPACK received from customer, proceed for development, and arrange quality approval, L/D approval and other related development activities.
∎ Arrange fabric sample length as per buyer requirement for sampling and costing submission.
∎ Arrange fabric details sheet (FDS) / Fabric Technical Data Sheet from supplier and arrange all sort of test from Mill in-house and third party and take approval from customer.
∎ Price negotiation with fabric mill/supplier. Price comparison for relevant customer.
∎ Keep all record and data for all development and bulk orders of own sourced fabric as well as price.
∎ Managing fabric library.
∎ Maintain and update mailing and development database.
∎ Responsible for all approval like Lab Dip, Fabric testing, First lot for bulk approval etc.
∎ Settle down Fabric Claim Issue (if any like-Technical & quality related) with Fabric Mill.
∎ Communicate with buyer in case of any commercial call / Approval for fabric quality or Technical related issue.
∎ Maintain & follow up courier / parcel sending and receive from local & overseas mill for sourcing.
∎ Advise technical guideline to fabric mill for development.
∎ Support to DPD team in case of fabric sourcing, development and local purchase for trend development for several customers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Candidate should have sound knowledge on GRS and BCI transaction certificate receiving/forwarding by relevant platform and Database
∎ Technology, Manufacturing and limitation of Yarn, Fabric, Dyeing & Finishing process.
∎ Outerwear fabric finishing requirement.
∎ Any kind of fabric sourcing & development.
∎ Communication Skill to guide technical issue with fabric mill for development & bulk issue.
∎ Price knowledge for different type of fabric in terms of composition, weight , Construction & Special finish.
∎ Fabric Care label & care instruction.
∎ Fabric Testing Method & procedure.
∎ Commercial range for fabric testing parameter.
∎ Lab dip development from mill & provide review comments compare to buyer referred color std.
∎ Bulk Fabric defect issue and re-process if recoverable.
∎ Bulk fabric claim issue settle down with Fabric mill.
∎ Different type commercial wash on fabric.
∎ Fabric testing, Color and quality approval related communication Skill with buyer.
