Experience Requirements:

  • The applicants should have minimum 07 years practical work experience in reputed Convention/Conference Centre/Chinese/Thai/Indian Restaurants/Hotels in relevant position.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and for long time.
  • Good looking, smart and physically fitness.
  • Must be proficient in English and Bengali languages.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks & manage workload using own initiative.
  • Must be well organized, honest, sincere and non-smoker.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Description:

  • Strong understanding of Convention & Conference Centre, restaurant and kitchen operations, menu planning, and guest service principles.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

  • Partnership with other department heads to ensure guest satisfaction and quality foods.

  • Identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue in all areas by cost control.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.

  • Program costing, budgeting, planning, coordinating.

  • Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory as per requirements.

  • Plan menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, ensuring a balance between creativity, cost-effectiveness, and guest preferences.

  • Monitor inventory, manage procurement, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for quality and cost efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations as per local laws and resort standards.

  • Manage budgets and cost controls, including forecasting, pricing, and profit & loss analysis.

  • Perform other duties as assigned and needed by the management.
